Charlie McCoy

A "musician's musician," Charlie McCoy was a famous harmonica player before his stint on "Hee Haw." Not only was he part of the cast, he was the show's musical director for 19 years. After "Hee Haw," he joined the band on "Music City Tonight." He has been performing for close to 50 years, much of that time in the studio on countless albums, but also, as the star himself. His website, is very informative and detailed, well worth visiting!

In February, 2009, the Country Music Hall of Fame announced that Charlie will be one of the 2009 inductees along with Hee Haw co-host Roy Clark. Congratulations, Charlie! You certainly deserve this honor.
