"The First Lady of Country Fiddle"
Jana Jae was on "Hee Haw" for a couple of seasons in the 1970's as the Buckaroos' fiddle player. Although her time on the show was short, her musical career has been long. She was born to musically talented parents, began playing with a miniature violin at the age of two, and hasn't stopped since. She taught music for awhile before jumping into a professional performing career. Buck Owens discovered her talents, made her a Buckaroo, and introduced her to the world. Since leaving the show she has become even more well-known for her Wal-Mart ads in the 1980's. These days she performs on her own and has built a reputation as a powerful performer. Read more about her on Jana Jae's official web page.
