Don Harron

Another of my favorite Hee Haw folks is the great Don Harron. I remember being amazed at what he REALLY looked like, because I thought of him as the disheveled old news reporter. Not only was he one of the show's writers, he was a noted Shakespearean actor. Born in Toronto, Ontario, he appeared in many TV shows including "The Man from U.N.C.L.E." and "Mission:Impossible" before landing on Hee Haw. He is 79 now and still touring. He's also written books, including The Outhouse Revisited, Charlie's a broad: Travails in fern [sic] parts and Olde Charlie Farquharson's Testament : from Jennysez to Jobe and after words.
