This photo was sent to me by Frank Sutton's cousin, John Powers. The little girls on each side of Frank are John's daughters, Fran and Rebecca - Frank's cousins. This picture was made at the old WLAC-TV studios in Nashville, TN, during Frank's first visit back home as "Sgt. Carter." Thanks for sharing this family treasure, John!

These pictures were sent to me by Stephen Mers. He was in the Marines in 1964 when Frank Sutton visited his platoon, to do research for "Gomer Pyle, USMC." Thanks, Steve!

These photos came from the 1940 edition of the East Nashville High School "Grey Eagle" and were shared by Marilyn Danforth, whose father went to school with Frank Sutton.
In the photo at left, we see a young Frank in a play called "The Valiant." That's him at far right.
The photo on the right is cut from the Dramatic Club group picture.
Thanks, Marilyn!

This photo came from a clip of a Maxwell House coffee commercial that often aired during "Gomer Pyle, USMC."
I got this picture from Dixon Hayes, who is a distant relative of Jim Nabors. Thanks, Dixon!
